It would be more viable for a paladin or druid to use it because it is very fast and obviously those classes can't dual-wield. You could use this weapon for maybe a few levels until you would find something far more superior. If this weapon was slower it would be a much better in my opinion. That seems a bit too good to work I know it's only a 20 rating for haste, but it does increase a weapon's speed. If your talking about increasing a wep's spd then a BS is all you need. Warriors would get much weaker overpowers, but that's about it, shamans dont have wind fury yet, and ofc speed doesn't matter for druids as feral trumps attack speed. Comment by swbang86 hmm I can see it now You know, with Titan's grip, you might see warriors farming alot of these, and then using them in their offhand with a really, really powerful main hand weapon.
Pure Ownage. It isn't unique, so you can farm several of the same of these, and they don't even have a cooldown on the on use buff. So, assuming a bagfull of these things, a DPS warrior can keep a perpetual haste buff on progression raids.
I wonder if that would offset the DPS lost for the offhand slot. Equiping this weapon in the offhand for furywarriors would probably cause a loss in DPS rather than a increase.
Comment by Siralex Pre-BC. I once farmed about 5 of these before doing AV's you all know, when you get really bored. Think of how frusterating it would be to be a caster being wailed on by a. As a druid, I always keep a Manual Crowd Pummeler with me to switch to as needed.
On boss fights where I don't have to worry about threat Shade of Aran, for instance , I usually start the fight with my MCP on and use the haste effect up, then switch back to my real weapon. The only frustrating part is having to go into Gnomeregan regularly to restock my supply.
But it isn't tagged Unique, so I carry several with me and treat them like consumables. I imagine any other caster who can use a two-handed mace would receive similar benefit from this item. Comment by swbang86 well, let's look at some simple considerations: the offhand weapon for a fury warrior lends damage through only 2 factors: 1 - damage through whirlwind 2 - innate DPS of the weapon let's say your average warrior has a 3.
WW dmg ofc is not affected. NOW, AP was not considered, but having a haste buff to the AP component of the damage white damage may make up for the Duel wields this. Pops both only interrupted by GCD. Possible stack? Makes you wonder does it not? Comment by swbang86 remember that damage that you deal from white damage autoattacks is mostly from AP, which has nothing to do with your weapon's damage or speed the DPS contribution to autoattacks from AP is always a constant.

Even though the damage would be higher, if you're leveling skill you shouldn't be worrying about damage as you're probably hitting an immune mob anyway. Even if that is the case, having twice as many charges and swinging two of the fastest 2-hand maces in game would shoot their skill up very quick. Comment by Thottbot This would actually be a really good weapon for shapeshifting Druids because of the stats. When shapeshifting, the damage of your weapon doesn't matter, it's all based on strength and attack power. The agility is nice too for crits and dodge. Too bad the effect only has 3 charges, but hey, great stats for a mace this level.

So you can only use it 3 times. All it dose is make you hit faster look at other people notes for effects at different lvs. No one realy should need this other than druids, palys have vergans fist and warrs are gana get hurricane wepons in a few more lv's. Along with that both palys and warrs can use axes and their are much better axes avilable around this lv. The boss is called Croud Pummler, most groups skip them but if you need it speak up and your group should be happy to take the extra 10 mins it takes to get to and kill the boss.
And pato you have to have it equiped to use it. Comment by Thottbot As of the 2. It's a shame that they'll never change it to a CD.. Even a 30 min cooldown would be fine. Anyways, you could farm a bunch of these since it's not unique and you can use the backdoor.

Comment by Thottbot Trying to get this mace as it is great for druids, killed Pummeler 13 times and he still hasn't dropped it The only thing that needs to be changed it that it should have infinite charges and be on a 1 hour cooldown. Comment by Feralsoul This is over a decade late but there's a lot of strong indication this might be the best in slot druid melee item in raids because of its stats and the on use effect, which works with Cat Form.
The other key element? These can be farmed as they are not in any way Unique, meaning druids could have bunches of these and burn through each, swap, then repeat.
No, this is not a joke. We will see what happens when Classic goes live but this might be one of those quirky items that gains a bit of infamy and fame because of it. Comment by Allakhazam Ok, since someone already asked about the charges, does anyone have any opinions for PVP with this?
Comment by Allakhazam I have 2 accounts and tomorrow I'm going to 'farm' this weapon for my alt. Since this item is not unique, I'm just gonna get 5 of those and put 4 on the bank. When I used the haste thingie 3 times I'm gonna get another one from the bank.
